Principal of Winlease Patrick Wachowiak, has over 15 years’ experience in finance and banking. He graduated from the University of Economics in Poland with a Masters in Banking and Finance. Patrick’s passion for the finance industry has positioned him to hold a number of senior management positions for both global financial institutions as well as domestically with Australia’s top Business Bank.

Patrick commenced his finance career working with global financial group, Citibank. During his tenure with Citibank, Patrick specialised in managing complex cash flow and cross-border transactions with an industry focus on manufacturing and wholesale, agricultural produce, transport and services. Patrick gained exposure to analysing financial data from Europe’s top DAX and FTSE corporations (ASX equivalent).

Patrick was provided the opportunity to relocate to Sydney with Lloyds Bank International. His experience in cross-border securities placed him well to succeed at Lloyds where Patrick specialised in the Aviation industry specifically financing small to large aircraft carriers for domestic and international clients.  

He also worked for leading medical financier Investec Bank focusing on asset finance and commercial solutions for medical sector including radiologists and dentists in NSW, QLD and Victoria.

Patrick was initiated into Australia’s financial industry with an opportunity to work with Australia’s Largest Business Bank at the time, the National Australia Bank. Patrick’s main role was to develop sustainable long term business relationships. He developed a diverse client base ranging from large government bodies to privately owned family operations. Patrick’s focus was on structuring debt facilities such as Asset Finance, Working Capital, Trade Finance Solutions and Term Debt Profiling.

Throughout his career Patrick has built a number of strong relationships based on trust, understanding client’s business model and applying his banking analytical skills to develop desired outcomes. He is passionate about developing sustainable relationships with clients and delivering tangible results.  

Patrick holds a Diploma in Finance Broking and Mortgage Management and Master of Finance and Banking. He is a member of the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA)
